Another rare snowy day in South Carolina. Here's the view from the front porch this morning.

A goal for the year: Get out in the woods and take some good pictures. No, they're not the High Sierras (I've been looking at Galen Rowell), or the Himalayas, or the rocky seacoast of Maine, or any other such scenic area. They're just scrubby Southern pine forest slowly giving way to hardwoods. But, they're the woods I've got. Here's an early sample.
