After being without power at our house for nearly a week, due to Hurricane Helene, we are finally back online. A neighbor's tree fell into our yard, smashing our four-month-old fence; but it's no big deal. Our house is fine. We are OK. An hour's drive from here, in the NC mountains, it is sheer devastation.
